Spinach Feta Turkey Burgers

I know a lot of you don't like spinach. Spinach is an acquired taste, and one that I have started LOVING ever since my palate enjoyed this salad for the first time.   Now I put spinach in everything I can possibly can from frittatas to smoothies to salads.  Now I have a turkey burger that calls for a generous portion of spinach.  The interesting thing is you don't taste the spinach at all but you still get the nutritional benefit of  consuming it.  I hope you all enjoy this recipe because it is fabulous.  My picky kids even cleaned their plates!

Turkey burgers on the grill...look at the yummy feta and spinach.

Finished burger ready to eat...

Spinach Feta Turkey Burgers

1 lb. Ground Turkey
1 whole egg, slightly beaten
5 ounces, frozen spinach, defrosted (about half of a 10 ounce bag)
or use the amount you are comfortable with
3/4 cups crumbled Feta Cheese
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
4 hamburger buns
Optional burger garnishes of your choice: extra feta, sliced onion, lettuce, ketchup, mustard, pickles etc.

Mix together all ingredients with your hands and form four medium sized patties.  Cook patties in a greased skillet over medium heat for about 6 minutes per side, or until meat is completely cooked.
