Baby It's Cold Outside.

I love hot chocolate.  Because I love it so much,  I set up a hot chocolate station in my kitchen so we can make hot chocolate whenever we get a little chilly.  I loaded it with mugs, my favorite hot chocolate mix, marshmallows, and Chessman cookies (perfect to dip in hot chocolate.)

Recently I've discovered hot chocolate made with Nutella.  It is easy to make and of course, it's delicious!  8 oz. steamed milk to 1 1/2-2 tbsp. Nutella, mix and enjoy.

My friend gave me choffy for my birthday.  It is chocolate ground like coffee but it has a ton of anti-oxidants and no caffeine.  It totally satisfies your sweet tooth even though there is no sugar added!  It's a total win-win.  You make it with a french press and it kind of "brews".  I love it especially with Almond Joy creamer! (I know adding creamer defeats the purpose of having no sugar in my drink but who can pass up a chocolate-coconutty drink)?  Delicious.

This year I made marshmallows to go in our hot chocolate.  I love home made marshmallows because they make hot chocolate so deliciously creamy.  I made them here.  They are really easy to make.  You can cut them into cubes or, use any cookie cutter to make the shape of your choice.  This year I made stars.

Pour your mixture in a jellyroll pan.
Swirl in a color if you desire.
Cover with wax paper and let it sit for a few hours.
Peel wax paper off, sprinkle generously with powdered sugar.
Start cutting away.

Store in an airtight container until ready to use.

 Brightens my day.
