Peanut Butter Sheet Cake

These may not be much to look at, but they are delicious. If you love peanut butter, or even like peanut butter, you need to try these Peanut Butter Sheet Cake bars. Peanut butter cake and peanut butter icing sprinkled with chocolate chips...even better the next day.
Combine all of your dry ingredients. Set aside.
Combine butter, water and peanut butter in saucepan and bring to boil.
Pour over flour mixture.
Blend until incorporated and creamy.
Pour into a greased jellyroll pan.
Ohh...doesn't that look delicious?
Now for the frosting...
Mix butter, peanut butter and milk in sauce pan and bring to a boil.
Pour over powdered sugar and mix.
Until it looks creamy and delicious.
Spread on warm cake.
Final product. Wait, my kids want me to add chocolate...

Peanut Butter Sheet Cake

2 cups sugar
1 tsp baking soda
2 cups Flour
1 tsp salt
2 sticks butter
1 cup water
1 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
Frosting:
1 stick butter
1/2 cup peanut butter
6 tsp milk (I added more to make it creamy)
1 pound powdered sugar
In a large bowl, mix together sugar, baking soda, flour and salt. Set aside.
Combine butter, water and peanut butter in saucepan and bring to boil. Pour over flour mixture. Add milk, vanilla and eggs. Mix.
Pour in jelly roll pan. Bake at 400F degrees for 20 minutes.
Frosting;
Bring butter, peanut butter and milk to boil in saucepan. Add powdered sugar. Spread frosting over warm cake. Sprinkle with mini chocolate chips, if desired.
