Peanut Butter Rice Krispy Treats
Wednesday, June 13, 2012
I love Rice Krispy Treats. You know I love a little crunch; but a little crunch with peanut butter and chocolate? I'm sold! I lost this recipe for a while but, as I was looking through my mounds of recipes, I found it! The heavens parted, the birds sang a beautiful tune, and all was right in the world again. Yes, they are that good.
Measure 1 cup peanut butter. (I use smooth)
Pour 6 cups Rice Krispies in a glass bowl.
Combine corn syrup and sugar in pan. Stir constantly until rolling boil.
Stir in peanut butter.
Pour peanut butter mixture over Rice Krispies. Stir to coat.
Press into a greased 9x13 inch pan.
Measure 1 cup butterscotch chips and 1 cup milk chocolate chips.
Combine and microwave in 30 second increments.
Stir well and microwave.
Until smooth.
Pour over Peanut Butter Rice Krispies. Let set.
Oh ya. They are ready. Cut and serve to family and friends.
